![]() Being a straight whey product, it is a little on the thinner side, especially in comparison to Syntha-6. Mixability is perfect - no clumping and overall texture is smooth. I "test" all my protein powders first with 8oz of skim milk. BSN has never disappointed me in the flavoring department Having said that Syntha-6 Vanilla Ice Cream is the best tasting vanilla protein yet, I had to dig into Whey DNA Vanilla Cream as soon as possible. Protein Blend, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Lecithin, Salt, Gum Blend (Cellulose Gum, Xanthan Gum, Carrageenan), Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium Whey DNA has a very minimal, pleasing ingredient list (and also appears filler free): ![]() With that said, Syntha-6 is more of a treat, and not something I regularly use. We all know Syntha-6's ingredient list can practically be published as its own novel, and that tends to scare away most consumers. The main reason I was excited to see BSN release a "basic" protein supplement is mainly because I prefer my food & daily supplements to have minimal ingredients. Needless to say, I was stoked to see BSN releasing a new protein powder and even more excited to hear it was a part of a "essentials" line, the DNA series. Never tried Isoburn, and Syntha-6 Isolate is good, but not nearly as delicious as regular Syntha-6. My favorite Vanilla-flavored protein ever is Syntha-6 Vanilla Ice Cream. I am a huge fan of BSN's Syntha-6 protein - there's no doubt that everyone who's tried Syntha-6 can admit it is absolutely one of the best tasting, if not the best tasting, protein powders on the market.
